About Me

As a way of introduction, my name is Kristy Bertsch.  I am married and have two sons who are both grown.  I have lived in the Worland area for 25 years.  My husband has been with McGarvin-Moberly Construction Company for over 30 years.  My husband grew up here, as well as both my parents.  I will always be a Wyomingite!  My mom would be the first to tell you how much I love animals, albeit, while clenching her teeth as I brought home another stray!  I do believe it is a God-given blessing to love animals.  I have had many pets as a child and as an adult raising my own boys with animals.  Yes, mostly the usual cats and dogs but we also had a goat, guinea pig, and turtle at one time!  I currently own a basset hound, Otis, and a German shepherd, Lucy, as well as my cat, Louie.  I will always own one or two pets I am sure.

When trying to help my boys decide what to do when they grew up, I read somewhere where it stated to think of a passion you have and apply that to a job.  Well, I certainly have a passion for animals and I cannot think of a job that I would find more fun (or is it funner?!).  Anyway, I was tired of my desk job and wanted to find something different.  When I found out Suzi was ready to pursue something different too, the Pet Nanny position became a possibility for me, and over time it has become a reality.  It really is an answer to my prayers for “something different” and fits me to a tee, as I feel I certainly have the skills required for this job.  First and foremost is a love for animals and put that together with dependability and organizational skills (along with good common sense), I think I fit the bill.  I am not going to say I can fill Suzi’s shoes, as we all know better, but I do believe I will be able care and love your pets in a similar fashion.  Suzi is a wonderful pet lover who I know at times will be glad to come visit your pets also.  Thanks for taking the time to get to know me a bit and I hope you will give me the opportunity to care for your pet/pets.
